The most interesting Museum Trip

On the 11th of August, Tawhirimatea (our class) went to the museum.
 How we got there?
Well we went there in the BUS but how about we jump back a bit to the morning.  We arrived at school at 8:30am we did the roll and did some fitness then we came back into the class. Then we did some music and we had some instructions to get one piece of food and put it in our pockets and hop on the BUS. It took about 5 to 10 minutes and then we got there and we had our one thing to eat and later we went in.
What did we do?
We did a guessing game and we had to guess the names for the sounds and we had to be in pairs and i was with Iyve and we got all the questions right. We also made purerehua and we decorated them. Later on that day we learnt about all the different names for the different Taonga Puoro and how they communicated to others and species. At the end we had free time and looked around and discovered some things we did not know about.
10 Minutes later we said thank you to the people that taught us today and next we went outside and went into a cabin that was old and had a look in that. In that cabin there was some dolls, photo even a olden day tv.
How to make purerehua:
1: Get some wood into a shape of a surfboard
2:Then grab some twine
3:Make sore there is a hole in the wood at the top and put the twine through the hole
4: Then do a not like you are tying your shoes ( at both ends of the twine )
5:Grab some stentsels ( optional )
6: Then you are done and you can go and use it.

  2. Hi Molly,
I enjoyed reading your report about your class visit to the Museum, it certainly did sound most interesting. It sounds as if you and Iyve must have been great listeners to get al the questions correct.
