Cross Country
Yesterday it was cross country for Makaraka school. It was at the Matthews farm. We went by bus. First we walked the track with Mrs Hannah and Mr Milne.I was nervous but I knew I could do it. Then we were called up to the start line. We were off! We jumped over two hay bales and went up two hills and then went down a long hill. Then I boosted to the finish line. In the end I came second. It was hard to run up the hills but I enjoyed it.
My legs felt like jelly after the race. When it was finish my Mum, Me ,Rose and Iyve and I went into town.
